ReplyDeleteDefinitely it's "Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer". I mean, the basic premise is hysterical, I grant you that, but I'm afraid the overexposure and mind-numbing repetition of this song on the radio for 5 years, due to it's extreme popularity, just got to be a bit "much", I'm afraid. Also the Jingle Bells one with the dogs barking. Enough already.

ReplyDeleteHey I was also just thinking. Remember there was a day when PM used to get marriage proposals in the mail from "adoring fans"?? Well, I still receive them. Almost every day sometimes. I sometimes have to keep my ego in check, if you can believe it.

The one I can't stand is the one about the kid getting his Mom the Christmas shoes. How depressing and I could handle it if I heard it once or twice a year but it's on every hour or two here.

Nothing makes the Holiday Cheer warm the heart than a song about his mother who's slowly dying who doesn't own a pair of shoes. Yes, that really gets me into a festive mood for sure.
