We had a little cloud early on, around 21:00 GMT, but it cleared up for the full event around 23:00. Unfortunately my mental model of the capabilities of my $80 comapct camera far outweigh the actual capability. However a montage of 21:00 and 23:00 is here. I can't really justify buying an digital SLR for the dozen or so photographs I take per annum.
Yay, cool. I will attempt some photographs if there are no clouds.
