They didn't make it.
in the tree update..They hatched last week
I was waiting till they got bigger to take a pic
Everyday I would take a look to see how they were doing
but today, when I checked on them
all three baby birds were dead
it's a sad day in slacktown, kids
it's been cold and rainy for most of the week
I don't know if that played a part
sometimes nature sucks
R.I.P little birds

ReplyDeleteOur art teacher 3 years ago "rescued" a baby rabbit from a patch of grass at a fast food chain.
ReplyDeleteIt lived by itself there in our school court yard until a freakin hawk stalked it for more than a week....The predator whooped ass on the poor rabbit and the SPCA lady came and took it away and had to put it down...poor waskally wabbit
