We return to Dr. Moria MacTaggert's facility. She walks in and attends to the body laying in the hospital bed - the "shell" of a person we briefly saw on a television during one of Xavier's classes, where he asked the ethical question about transferring another's persona into the brain-dead body. Well, she leans over to check the monitor, the body's head turns (in the foreground, out of focus) and Xavier's voice comes out in a whisper, "Moira..." to which Moira is startled and then finally mutters, "c-charles?". Cut to black.

ReplyDeleteI left the movie kind of mad at where the story went, and well, my perceptions changed after I found out about the extra bit at the end. Bring on the next movie I say!
