is it just me?

Did you ever drive to work and zone out so much
that when you get to work you don't have any
recollection of the ride there?

Sometimes I scare myself...

I've done that, but it's usually on the drive home. I just go into autopilot and my brain vacations in it's hapy place for the ride.

  3. I don't drive to work but there have been other instances I wonder "how did I get here"? "Did I drive through any red lights"?

Jen has a habbit of zoning out everywhere and anywhere even when typing casual slack!

  6. All the time.

Today I slept with one eye open while I was on the interstate. It didn't work out real well, but I'm here, where ever the hell here is. I'm going to need some caffeine for the ride back home.

  7. I've lost track of where I am on the subway. Does that count?

I wish I could just zone out through the entire work day instead.

What usually happens to me is I come to your blog and don't realize what I did until I've already commented.

    .......huh?

  10. I had a hypnotist once tell me that when you experience this you're in the same state that you're in when you're hypnotized. That special place between sleeping and waking that all sorts of crazy things happen.

Isn't that the scariest thought? Somehow, you arrive at your destination safely... but it makes you wonder how you managed to *not* get in an accident.

Maybe it's the lack of control that makes it so unsettling.

  12. I do that all the time. I am so sleepy when I drive, I usually call someone to talk to while I drive so I can stay awake. Yes, I am the worlds worst driver.
