How about a Thursday Thirteen

Thirteen Movies I thought SUCKED...
that most people liked..

1. Titanic - Don't get me started
2. Meet the Fockers - Hated It
3. I Heart Huckabees - I tried
4. the Matrix- Neo can kiss my ass
5. the Matrix Reloaded -Morpheus can kiss my ass
6. the Matrix Revolutions -The Oracle can kiss my ass
7. Mars Attacks - I wanted to like it.. really I did
8. Anger Management - fucking stupid
9. Collateral - *yawn* Tom Cruise sickens me
10. Analyze This - lame
11. Donnie Darko - Why is this a cult classic?? Why??
12. Something's Gotta Give - something's gotta suck
13. Pearl Harbor - spectacularly awful..

    I'm with you on every single one of those movies except Titanic. It was very long, and there was some really bad acting in there, but I fell for it and left the theater sobbing. God, what a pushover I am! :)

    Can I make a confession and tell you that I went to the movie theater SEVEN times to see that movie. I've never done that before or after. Weird!

    I kinda liked Collateral.

    Although you're RIGHT on with Pearl Harbor. How lame was THAT one?? Titanic was great at the end, when everyone died. I loved that part.

    Hey Jen, If you thought the first MATRIX sucked; why would you see the next two sequels? Were you expecting a different level of suckage? Did you want to see them all to get the overall average suckage?

    Were you taken at gunpoint to see these films? Abducted, but only for the amount of time to see a movie? Were the kidnapper's demands met?

    Or was this to see if Keanu's character sucked in a new, more exciting way than he sucked in other films that he has done?

    Titanic was good--saw it on TV. Fascinated by the multiple viewers out there--i.e., went to movie 7x and didn't know why.

    Matrix sucked...I agree. All the hype. I had friends that swore this was some amazingly deep moive. YAWN

    Collateral was OK...a lot of work for a moive that was just OK. I liked the DVD "making of" better than the movie itself.

    I know the other movies suck because I didn't see any one of them...so good choices!

    I'm totally with you except for the following:

    MATRIX (just the first one)

    MARS ATTACKS (its fun, kitchy camp! Love it!)

    and halvsies on COLLATERAL. The last 15min blew.

    TITANIC and PEARL HARBOR are the worst!!!!

    I've only seen some of those. But those that I've seen sucked. Bad. Especially "Meet the Fockers." So. Fucking. Bad. But I found the first one very entertaining. People just don't know when to stop.

    How the hell Titanic beat out L.A. Confidential to win best picture that year I'll never know.
