I got it for my birthday... needless to say
I was overwhelmed with joy
What was yours?

Cassette? Hmmm... I'll have to dig deep into the grey matter for this one.
ReplyDeleteI'd have to say my first cassette was Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of The Moon."
Well...first I had vinyl albums
ReplyDeleteThen... I had 8-track tapes...
Then came cassettes....
So, if I remember correctly, it would have been Grease Soundtrack
The first cassette? I don't remember! Maybe John Parr?! Does anyone remember him?
ReplyDeleteI had this little reel to reel and I had a radio and I held the mic. close to the radio and recorded some songs off WHMC comercial radio here in the co. at the time Sweet Lorain...by KISS? I forgot thr rest...can't remember my first Cassette..
ReplyDeleteAbbey Road and The Sesame Street Album. Bought 'em on the same day. I was five.
ReplyDeleteI traded a smurf for the 45 to "Doctor Doctor" by Robert Palmer.

"Sychronicity" by the Police was the first Album I got.
"Thriller" by Michael Jackson (gift).
