My friend Kim sent me this postcard

So few words.. yet brilliant

The fact that she mailed it from home, only adds
to the comic genius of it all
Bwahahahaha

  17. I get it ... maybe. No, actually, I don't get it at all.

Besides, those guys can't really be the Amish--the Amish don't wear sunglasses. Sunglasses are too "modern."

  18. I thought I got it. But...no.

  19. I totally don't get it. All I see there is some Amish people...

The Amish are not funny, they are hard-working, God loving, earth tilling, cornpipe smoking, strawhat weavin', good, wholesome people.

  20. Could it be because they all look like the Trenchcoat Mafia even in light of the school shooting events?

Amish men don't wear belts, by the way. They only wear suspenders. I've never understood what they have against belts. Also they wear beards but not mustaches. So no belts, no mustaches.

... and also, I don't think the women believe in shaving their legs. Now if you posted a bunch of hairy women-folk's legs, THAT would be funny.. I could see the humor in that one..

... btw, I think Kim laughed just to be "cool". I don't think she gets it either.

  24. The guy with the blue sweatshirt is the funny part, right?

If so, then I got it.

Kim mails like I normally do. From home, after a trip.

No, I think he's in a blue sweatshirt. Or a blue jacket with a hood. Either way, I still don't get it...

  28. Despite my many accomplishments in life, I feel rather foolish today due to my failure to grasp the obvious humor in this photo. WHY don't I understand? Why, God, why?
