What a cool thing to do on a rainy day, take mom to lunch and enjoy good food with hubby and mom. I agree with mel, the french toast with blackberries looks great. Since we make our own bread with whole grain flour, I can make that at home!!! So I will be looking for blackberries....

OMG That meatloaf thing looks yucky. There are too many black berrys on mom's french toast, but your pancakes looked yummy. Far better than my ponderosa surprise.
