I ran into "Newt" a couple years ago at an ALIENS screening in LA hosted by the Visual Effects Society. There was Q&A with the producer (Gale Anne Hurd) and some of the FX guys. But Newt just happened to be in the audience, to watch the movie. Being the uber-Aliens fanatic that I am, I recognized her and decided to approach in the lobby as she was leaving. She was really nice and humored my geek excitement. She even introduced me to her husband and signed my program, which she thought was funny - Aliens is her 1 and only acting gig and she wasn't used to having "a fan". Anyway, she was pretty awesome.
