new post

Dick Small
wanted a new post.

So here's a
new post

Friday night I was in bed and I thought I smelled smoke
so I try to wake up my husband who is usually is in a sleep coma
I punched a few times to wake him up and here is the conversation
that followed:

Me: Do you smell smoke?
Tim: Huh?
Me: SMOKE.. DO YOU SMELL SMOKE??
Tim: Smoke?
Me: Do.. you.. smell.. smoke?
Tim: What kind of smoke?
Me: What kind of smoke? Oh You Know, Candy Scented Smoke...
SMOKE!!! for christ's sake! you know SMOKE as in
"is our house burning down smoke"
Tim: The people next door are having a party
Me: No they aren't AND They don't have an outdoor fireplace
Tim: It's the outside smoke
Me: What are you talking about???
Tim:
It's the window smoke, I don't smell it
Me: What ??
Tim: It's the outside smoke, the trees outside
Me: okay thanks.. you've been very helpful
Tim: Out cold & snoring

The house could be buring down around us and he'd still be out cold.
As usual..He doesn't remember our conversation.

Why do I bother?

Dick,
I didn't say it would be a great post.. but it's a post none the less

Good thing nothing happened to your blog.

Your house is not in charred ruins.

I guess sleepy Tim was right about the outside smoke. I think you should go apologize for waking him up needlessly.

We had the tornado sirens going off and by the time my husband got me awake, the tornado could have hit.

We had a malfuction in our home security system where it went off at 2 a.m. and my husband and I slept through that for about 10 minutes too.

I guess I agree with Tim. lol.

I thought that was super funny! Sounds like a conversation I would have with my hubby.
