I went with the basics... grilled cheese with french friesyou can't go wrong with the basics
this kids, is a clamcake- deep fried ball of dough with chopped clams
(usually quahog) inside.

I loved clam cakes. I haven't had one in, like, 30 years, though.
I rode yesterday too! No clams for me either, but my kids love them. Go figure!

My Lotte market has live cherrystones to which I add water and lots of "slabbed" fresh ginger root,lemon, black pepper and sometimes chicken stock....mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
