I'm with you, Jen. The basics are always the best choices.
did you and the hubby ride together on one bike or do you have your own, you biker momma?
we ride together
I have no desire to ride my own...
I'm far too lazy
=)
I loved clam cakes. I haven't had one in, like, 30 years, though.
I rode yesterday too! No clams for me either, but my kids love them. Go figure!
Ooooh clam cakes! Them be really good, and really unavailable to those of us here in the mountains...
Looks like you're the only one on this clam cake thing. Well, except for Teri (I'm not surprised, really...).
My Lotte market has live cherrystones to which I add water and lots of "slabbed" fresh ginger root, lemon, black pepper and sometimes chicken stock....mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
goooooood! The broth is good for you I bet!
I haven't tried Iggy's yet, that will be my next stop for clam cakes. Yeah you really have to try something new- grilled cheese at a restauarant?? Come on now!
Jen, you are so right about the basics being the way to go. Grilled cheese and fries--not much better out there. And as basic as it gets.
I've got a good home ready for those clam cakes if you'll just send them over! Thanks!
You had me at deep-fried...
Mmmmm clamcakes and chowdah. Which one is Mr. Jen? Aaaaaand who's bike is who's?
Wait, did you say that in the post and all the food distracted me? I'm sorry. I'm hungry.
