rascal

I was just sitting here
wondering how Alfalfa's life turned out
after his stint on the little rascals

(As I'm sure most of you have been
wondering
the same exact thing)

Apparently he was shot in the chest and killed when he was 31

life's a bitch ain't it...

Maybe things turned out better
for Buckwheat...
I'd look it up..

But I've already lost interest

Did you never see the THS about the "Our Gang" crew? They all did not have happy lives.

Don't buy into the "Little Rascals/Our Gang" death coincidence hoax without checking it out on Snopes.com.

My favorite Rascal was Shemp Howard.

How about Screech, what a dashing young man that turned out to be.

I'm so bored I looked most of them up.

Turns out they all ended up living in a compound with Dick Small.

Dick Small really knows how to live, doesn't he? I heard he suspended his presidential campaign for the He-man Woman-haters Club.

Billie "Buckwheat" Thomas died October 10, 1980 of a heart attack. Darla Hood died of acute hepatitis after minor surgery in 1979. George "Spanky" McFarland died of a heart attack in 1993. He and Jackie Cooper (still living) are the only ones of the group that got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Wow! I never knew that! I had thought he had just died of old age. Wasn't one of TLR's Robert Blake?

he was? i know he later appeared in It's A Wonderful Life as the guy who pulls the lever to open the pool under the gym floor in the begining of the film.

confession because of this post I just spent 5 minutes reading Carl/Alfalfa's bio on IMDB. Pretty depressing stuff http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0842813/bio
