Add Airedale Terrier to the list. I call mine "Airhead." She runs into sliding glass doors, looks out the back of our car for rabbits in front, and our Westie and mutt terrier (half her size) boss her around. Check out my blog.
We had a great dane when I was growing up, which my parents named "TINY". The damn dog used to jump on the glass door when I would come in from school and wouldn't get down so I could open the door. He jumped on the couch like it was a trampoline with his front paws... dog was dumb as shit. He crapped all over the place and my parents made ME pick it up. Needless to say, I'm bitter.
Couldn't help but notice that the least intelligent dog "has many cat-like traits".
Just sayin'.

Almost all of them are small dogs. Small brains are suppose to be smarter.
Phew... pugs aren't on the list.
Yeah, but some of the least intelligent dogs are some of the most likable. (to me) i like dumb old basset hounds and bloodhounds.
I really don't like Rottys or Poodles all that much!
My dog has no nose.....
How does he smell? You may ask....
