'Superman Returns'
Is expected to be the most expensive movie ever made
by the time it's released on June 30th, with costs
by then reaching $300 million.

According to WWTD

$300 MILLION!!!!
If they can't make a good movie for $300 Million - All is Lost.

It Better Be Good. Or Jen Will Be ANGRY!!!
I can't wait to see it.
I was five years old when the first movie came out in 1978

$300 mil for a good movie?
Two words...Water World...maybe it's one word.

It's movie economic disaster. Their only hopes is to recreate the Spiderman success, tap into the already built-in audience, and hope a new generation with come aboard.

The budget is justified to launch a series of new Superman movies. This actor's career is set...he will always be Superman!

Up, up, and away...

$300 MILLION!?!?!?!?

Why did they choose to shoot it in Australia "to save money" then?!!?

Anyhoo... I was lucky enough to be in Sydney for a week whilst some shooting was happening in the streets. (Well, Sydney sucks ass, so I wasn't THAT lucky!)... but it was amazing to see.

They had transformed a city street in Sydney to look like New York. Yellow cabs, the lot. I saw Kate Bosworth run out of a store on to the street looking up(to the sky) the whole time... she struggled to keep those little legs in the right direction and was wobbling all over the place.... kinda looked drunk. 20 takes later, I think she was getting a little dizzy, so they moved on down the street.
Later that night I saw Orlando and Kate in a harbour restuarant. Really drunk this time. :)

I can't wait for it to come out. I just hope they have a global premiere, so we don't have to wait as long as usual!
