Ohh man! I remember those chairs! And the loungers too! darn! That picture sure does bring back memories! You don't (and may not ever again) see those again!
I used to love how, when you would sit on them, the hairs in your legs would get caught between the strips and get pulled out when you got up. Or how, if you were sitting on one without a shirt on, your back would sweat because the fibers didn't breathe. Oh why did they have to change them....

My neighbor still has those.
It seems they were replaced by camping chairs...equally uncomfortable chairs that can be carried in bags.

Mr Small nailed it! Good observation. My folks have an entire set of those things in the garage somewhere.
At least the colors had a disposition of cheerfulness!
I feel like eating Fruit Loops now.
I just pulled one of these out of the garage a couple of days ago to put on the porch, lacking other chairs. And I sat in it!
