The Amish are not funny, they are hard-working, God loving, earth tilling, cornpipe smoking, strawhat weavin', good, wholesome people.
Could it be because they all look like the Trenchcoat Mafia even in light of the school shooting events?
Amish men don't wear belts, by the way. They only wear suspenders. I've never understood what they have against belts. Also they wear beards but not mustaches. So no belts, no mustaches.
... and also, I don't think the women believe in shaving their legs. Now if you posted a bunch of hairy women-folk's legs, THAT would be funny.. I could see the humor in that one..
... btw, I think Kim laughed just to be "cool". I don't think she gets it either.
