1. Kittens - If you don't like kittens you have no soul
2. Kites - We usually go to Newport, RI a couple times a year
and fly kites - there's a perfect spot near the water,
everyone goes there to fly kites.. I recommend it.
3. Kalamazoo, Michigan - I have never been there, it might be
a shit hole for all I know...I just like the name

5. Kayaks - I want to buy one, but my husband says
I spend too much money
6. Kangaroo - I like Kangaroos - Hey.. does anyone remember

a few years ago
I was always having panic attacks & stressing out
and my friend from work, Ann
made me this sign
(no...she's not a Buddhist...
she just happened upon this quote somewhere on line)

the fact that the letters were cut off and it just looked
half-ass, thrown together made me like it even more

It's been taped to my desk ever since

And I can honestly say
this was the greatest advice ever given to me

I told her it changed my life -
She just laughed and said - "that ugly thing? BWahahahaha"

WTF Sighting of the WEEK

People are insane:

We were at a gas station today...
to our left a mother and daughter
in a volvo station wagon

- okay
you know the squeegee near the pumps
that people use to was their dirty windshields..

they soak in a mix of fifthly water/windshield cleaner

well this woman took the squeegee
went inside her car
and proceeded to clean the entire interior with it..
the dash
the seats
the steering wheel
all of it...

AND the daughter was following the mother
drying everything with napkins..

WTF?

sad day

They didn't make it.

in the tree update..

They hatched last week
I was waiting till they got bigger to take a pic

Everyday I would take a look to see how they were doing
but today, when I checked on them
all three baby birds were dead

it's a sad day in slacktown, kids

it's been cold and rainy for most of the week

I was just searching the
internet looking for
non-toxic alternatives for
weed killer & drain cleaner

I found these recipes:
Drain Cleaner
1/2 cup baking soda
1/2 cup white vinegar
Boiling water

Weed Killer
* 1 tablespoon of gin
* 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar
* 1 teaspoon of liquid dish soap
* 1 quart of hot water

Alternate version:
* 1 gallon of distilled vinegar
* 1 cup of salt
* 1 tablespoon of liquid dish soap

Spray these directly on weeds in the garden or pour directly
into cracks of walks and driveways.

Anyone have a better mix?
