I went with the basics... grilled cheese with french fries
you can't go wrong with the basics


this kids, is a clamcake
- deep fried ball of dough with chopped clams
(usually quahog) inside.
Bleeeeeeccccccchhhhh

clamcake dipped in chowder - even more nasty...

I rode yesterday too! No clams for me either, but my kids love them. Go figure!

My Lotte market has live cherrystones to which I add water and lots of "slabbed" fresh ginger root,lemon, black pepper and sometimes chicken stock....mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
goooooood! The broth is good for you I bet!

I haven't tried Iggy's yet, that will be my next stop for clam cakes. Yeah you really have to try something new- grilled cheese at a restauarant?? Come on now!

Jen, you are so right about the basics being the way to go. Grilled cheese and fries--not much better out there. And as basic as it gets.
