Bert Left - go here for last post

Well - He was gone for one week
then he came back

and he brought pie

He wasted no time - setting up his new desk

He sill wants to move to PA
but he's stuck here for a little while longer

clip of the day

Misconceptions
Watch it here

Can someone please hold me...
The Buckeyes scare me

*saw this over at the churning

FYI
When I bring in a bag of tootsie rolls
and place them in a container on my desk

Yes - they are for "everyone"..
with in reason of course

Sure - I like to share..
Take a few...! Enjoy! Have a great day!

But when you come in every morning
and proceed to jam your face full of candy as if
you had not eaten in weeks and THEN take handfuls
and put them in your pocket for later...

I take issue with that.

Just so you know..
I'm not a fucking soup kitchen

If you're so god damn hungry
Have an Eggo waffle in the morning..
Stop at McDonald's and grab some McBreakfast...

I don't give a shit where you go - just as long as you realize
my desk is not the new all you can eat buffet

thanks

it's stupid

What's the deal with that commercial?

The one with the couple sitting in bathtubs
on a beach.. with no plumbing
staring out at the water
patiently waiting for a hard-on.

What the hell is that?

Yeah... everyone has decorative ceramic bathtubs
set up on platform over looking the ocean...

WHAT? - YOU DON'T???

the stupidity of it all - infuriates me

What are your thoughts on this fine commercial?

just sayin'

Anyone who watched the SOX game on
Saturday night knows...
Technical difficulties prevented TBS from showing the
first 20 minutes or so of Game 6 of the ALCS
instead replacing it with a rerun of
"The Steve Harvey Show"

I had never seen the Steve Harvey Show.

Okay..
can I just say - that this was the most agonizing
20 minutes of my life
watching this show was like TORTURE

I frantically called the cable company FIVE times
and all I got was a busy signal... - of course!

Has anyone seen this show?

It's Pure Crap.
The writers should be ashamed of themselves
and the actors... well acting just isn't their thing

losers

as my father used to say..

"No good, Fuckin' Red Sox"

Then he would throw the remote across the room.
Then he would rip up the TV guide and throw it across the room.
Then he would throw all the stuff that was on the coffee table across the room.

Then he would yell out random profanities.
for example: "Mother Fuckers!!!!"
Then he would mumble more random profanities.

ahhhhh memories.

ANYWAY...
thanks for nothing RED SOX!!

I cried today

A Tribute to the KING

A guy named "Robert" took a salesman
position where I work

I asked if he minded if I called him
"Bert"

He said "yes, I hate that name..it's Robert"
so of course I continued to call him Bert
eventually the entire office did
nobody EVER called him Robert again

He was also referred to as "the king"
because he always got his way..

Other Nicknames He Earned Through The Years
"Sweet Cakes"
"Bertrum"
"Bertum Van Schultz"
"Bertie"
"Bertholomew"
"The Canadian King"

Bert's Favorite Sayings:
• "what are you talking a boot"
• "cool your porridge"
• "Oh my soul!"
• "WELL DARLIN' that's the way it is"
• Along with many other unintelligible phrases
(he's a bit of a mumbler)

Bert's last day was today
He had to quit
because he can't afford to live in this shitty state anymore
when he eventually sells his house he's headed to PA.

I've seen so many people come and go over the years
so many that I've lost count
but Bert... Bert was special and I will never forget him

There will never be another Bert

He made me laugh
He will be missed

Work will never be the same
