my weekend

I had to go to my nephews first communion on Sunday

I'm not really into the "church thing"
So one hour felt like an eternity

For those of you not familiar with the catholic regimen
I'll sum it up for you...

Sit... Stand...Kneel
Sit... Stand...Kneel
Sit... Stand...Kneel
Sit... Stand...Kneel
Sit... Stand...Kneel
and yawn

So, yeah... it's a good time

After that we went to eat at restaurant called "Twin Oaks"
I can't stand Twin Oaks... people LOVE this place
I just don't get it.
The food is not that great, yet people will wait 2 hours
just to eat some of it.

THEN
I cut my finger buttering a piece of bread with a steak knife
I had to ask the waiter for a band-aid
I never asked a waiter for a band-aid before
I guess there's a first time for everything

I thought I was out of luck.. but he said SURE
and came back in a flash with TWO Band-Aids
just in case...
I guess it's a common restaurant occurrence...
My finger still hurts.

That's my story. Pretty dull.. I know

I can't believe it. This is too crazy to be true.

The first time I ever went to Twin Oaks, I also cut my finger on the steak/butter knife. I was bleeding pretty heavily and also needed to ask the waiter for a bandaid.

My dinner wasn't that great either.

Maybe people like them for their band-aids?

yeah church is an eternity for an hour
and for christmas/easter when its an extended 2 hours or hour and half it seriously feels like you want god to strike you down because any way out is what you want.
:/
i love food!
