flashback

remember when we had to actually "rewind"..
*the horror*

I spent most of my childhood wearing headphones
I would have loved to have an ipod back then

I have an ipod now but.. I never use it
go figure

When I was in high school I had a radio that had two wires. One was the ear plug and the other had an alligator clip. All you had to do was clip it to any medal and the radio would play (of course that was when all we had were AM stations.) In school I would run the ear plug wire up my sleeve and clip the other it to my desk. I never got caught. And at night I would clip it to the finger stop on the telephone (remember when we had to DIAL the phone?) and listen to music all night, or until I rolled over in my sleep and the ear plug came out. No batteries – music all the time. Now I listen to talk radio.

OMG! I think I owned a walkman like that.

Sometimes when my husband and I watch a DVD, I tell him to make sure and rewind it. LOL!

I couldn't survive at work without my iPod. I forgot it once when I took it out of my purse for traveling. That was the worst week.

I never had a walkman, but I had a cheap imitation knock-off. The headphones hurt my ears, even though they were padded. I also hate cassettes, now that CD's are here to stay.

I'm with Lynda - I still look for the rewind button on the DVD player, certain that the Nazis at Blockbuster will send someone to kill my dog if I don't rewind. Conditioned responses take a long time to overcome, right, Pavlov?

I still have a hernia from carrying mine. remember video cameras that you had to take half the VCR with you.

The only times I use my ipod are:

1. on the train to/from work
2. exercising
3. outdoor chores
4. sitting in doctors office

If I didn't have most of these scenarios I wouldn't use mine either.

I used my walkman ALL the time. I still have tons of cassettes that I don't listen to.

Okay Kids, here is your Tip of the Day!

Dump your IPODs and get a XM Radio INNO.

You can store MP3s and do all the same things you can do with an IPOD except you can also get Satelite Radio and store the radio content on it as well.

I dont go anywhere without my INNO
